Limited-Time Heat Pump and Water Heater Incentives

Up to $2,300 in new incentives are available now to encourage the installation of advanced heating/cooling and hot water systems in new residential construction.

  • $1,200 per home for installing a qualifying Cold-Climate Air-Source Heat Pump (ccASHP).
  • $600 for installing a qualifying Heat Pump Water Heater (HPWH).
  • An additional $500 for homes that install both systems.

These new incentives may be combined with the existing builder incentive based on HERS Rating (up to $4,500 per home).

Eligibility:

  • Single-family homes are eligible for one ccASHP, one HPWH and one combination incentive per home.
  • Multifamily properties are eligible for $600 per qualifying HPWH for up to 15% of the total number of housing units in the building.
  • Homes must be completed after June 1, 2024.
  • Builders must be enrolled in the PPL Electric Utilities New Homes Program.
  • Equipment installations must meet the program’s technical requirements.
  • Rebates are available for a limited time and are subject to change, so act quickly to maximize your benefits.
